I just rode 35.5 kilometers! Check it out on Strava: Link</>

Actually it's more (55 km) but Strava app kept closing for no reason.

And if Morsi wants to fix some roads in his first 100 days program he can start with Matareyya which is 3 kms away from his palace.

Big day in Libya. Some background on the MB and other islamists ahead of today's vote. /by @hadeelalsh

First ever elections in Libya today and interestingly the first after the revolution against Gadafi. The elections will bring a national assembly that will draft the constitution and elect an executive.

With security deteriorating in the east as some armed groups want more independence there and are rejecting the elections, it will be interesting to see voters' participation.

Tim Sebastian's apathy on proper reasoning

Again, Tim Sebastian proves that he enjoys making sweeping generalisations to the point of being offensive and shallow.

This article is exactly the counterpart of those written by morons here claiming that since 80,000+ women are raped in the UK and the US a year then the society there is made of pleasure seeking depraved infidels.

Stick to your debates Tim.

Haisam Yehia is traveling to Alexandria on his mountain bike. He plans to make it in four days. Cairo -> Banha, Banha -> Tanta, Tanta -> Damanhour and then finally Alex. Each leg is about 40 to 60 Kms.

Important post by @3arabawy on Morsi, MB and revolutionaries

Hossam doesn't think Morsi was SCAF's candidate as some may think and explains why it is wrong to label the MB as a fascist organisation.

Read it here.

Morsi's historic speech today at Tahrir reminds me of an event that took place a year ago

Sharaf crowd surfing in Tahrir

13 Months ago, we got rid of Ahmed Shafik the prime minister. Essam Sharaf came to Tahrir square on a Friday to 'draw legitimacy' from it. People chanted and asked him to take the oath at the square but he refused. At that time we had no parliament and SCAF had all the powers.

Message to people boycotting the elections. Continue your boycott but go down listen to people.

People boycotting the elections, you are right. These elections are flawed because of military rule. The SCAF are murderous bastards. The elected president will be a puppet.

But, please go chat with people outside the stations. Don't try to convince them with anything just listen and ask questions. Ask them difficult questions, your concerns, etc..
