Egyptian bloggers listen. You can now move away from blogger. Blogger is fine, there is nothing wrong with it, except that it has none of the features of a modern blog. And to add features, you have to subscribe to lots of third party services that transforms your blog to something similar to the back of a microbus.

A new free service called blogsome gives you an installation of WordPress with 31 Megabytes of space to upload photos. This is cool because, before blogsome you had to buy a hosting service and a domain to have a wordpress blog.

Wordpress has lots of features. In addition Blogsome allows you to chose from 26 themes and several plugins. Yes including the hot kubrick theme that mindbleed uses.

There is something related I would like to tell you about. Ourmedia is a new service that provide free permenant storage and free bandwidth for your videos, audio files, photos, text or software. Forever.

I guess we are all empowered now to blog and create more content.
