Big screen mobile phones

Till now, there isn't a single mobile phone with a large enough screen and keypad for old people. They still have to get their reading glasses out of their pockets and make their way through complicated menus to make a call.

Even if there is no emeregency, I don't enjoy watching them search for their reading glasses, put them on and start pressing on several tiny keys at once with their thick fingers.

If I would like to buy a digital audio player today, I would go for an iPod. Its the dominant mp3 player in the world today. It can carry all my mp3 collection. It looks good and comes with a huge user base.

It's today cultural icon. Its white headphones can be spotted from a huge distance. It is not very cheap but it's a monster, that comes with up to 40GB of storage. So …

A chance to see

There will be an event next week that you shouldn't miss. Its a chance to see and learn about great computer software like Mozilla Firefox and others. It's not for technical people and it is all about free software. It is organized by volunteers to display the work of thousands of other volunteers.

Google before anything

I have been receiving large number of sms.ac invitations in the past months. I have never responded to those invitations, but they are very annoying and it seems like my friends are spamming me with those invitations.

Yesterday, it drove me nuts. The invitations are repeating every few days, warning me that I am not responding to requests and sms.ac keeps on resending the requests!
